Patty Bird has appreciated and enjoyed creating art for most of her life. Throughout the years, she has taken several college art courses and studied with Plein-art colorists, Frank Gannon and Camille Przewodek.
It wasn't until Patty retired from being the local rural letter carrier that she found the time to truly pursue her passion for painting with pastels. She enjoys capturing and sharing the beauty of the land as she see it.
Patty is currently exploring color as the subject itself. As she says, "I paint because it boosts my endorphins in a way few things do."
